IMPORTANT NOTE: The delivery person will be the same person who will collect the bouncy castle and equipment.
DUE TO POTENTIAL THEFT, WE DO NOT SEND ANYONE TO COLLECT THE EQUIPMENT ON OUR BEHALF!


Q) How much space do I need to set the Bouncy Castle up?
A) For our 15x11 ft Bouncy Castle you will need a grass or indoor area 19x24 ft (5.8x7.4m)

This equates to the 15x11 ft Bouncy Castle, 4ft (1.2m) on each side, 4ft on the front as well as 5ft (1.5m) for the back (rear blower fan).

Q) Do you provide a Generator if I have no power source?
A) No, we can only set up using a standard 240v electric source which you must provide access to.
 This must be within 50 metres of the inflatable. An extension cable and RCD breaker is included.


Q) I've hired a hall - can you set up inside?
A) Yes, please just state this when booking. Insurance proof can be emailed on request.

Q) Can you set up inflatables outdoors in my garden?
A) Yes, the grass area must be free of dog fouling or any other debris which could damage or mark the castle e.g. furniture, toys, swings, slides.

Q) Can you set up the Bouncy Castle on concrete/ gravel/ stone/ patio slabs?
A) Sorry, we are unable to set up on this type of surface.  There are no exceptions to this rule for safety reasons.


Q) Can you set up in a communal garden area?
A) We are unable to accept bookings for communal areas as we require constant supervision of our inflatables  during the full duration of hires.

Q) How do I Book and Pay?
A) Contact us via Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Phone, Text or Email to request your date. Payment options will be given at the time of booking which can either be via Bank Transfer/ PayPal or Cash on the day.

Q) Do you need a deposit/ booking fee?
A) We require a £10 deposit at the time of booking payable by bank transfer or PayPal.  This will secure your date. Before set-up we may require a copy of address for security reasons. Unless otherwise agreed, if deposit has not been received within 48 hours of the enquiry date, it will go back up for sale again for others to book.  We cannot be held responsible if a venue has been booked and this date is taken up by another customer due to non-payment of deposit.

Q) Are you insured and do I need additional insurance?
A) Jump 4 Joy Bristol has £5million public liability insurance. It is important however that you, the hirer, understand what this means: This insurance covers US, Jump 4 Joy Bristol, against damage or injury caused by unsafe or improper set-up, or faulty equipment. It DOES NOT protect against injury, damage or loss caused through either negligent use of the equipment, or altering any aspect of the set-up after delivery, or through normal use where accidents may occur. You, the hirer, are NOT covered by our insurance, as it impossible for us to insure you against your liabilities. This is the case with EVERY bouncy castle hire company in the country.
If you want to insure your liabilities, you will need to arrange this yourself.

Q) Do you provide a safety sheet and T&Cs for me to sign?
A) Yes, Terms of Hire will need to be signed prior to the inflatable being used. Safety sheets need to be adhered to at all times.

Q) What do I get for my money?
A) Delivery, set up, use and removal of Bouncy Castle for the agreed time (delivery charge applies outside of  free delivery area ), pegs (outdoors) or sandbags (indoors), safety mat and blower, RCD Plug and extension lead. Velcro artwork of your choice (subject to availability).

Q) Can I keep the Bouncy Castle overnight?
A) If we are happy with the security of your garden/ venue this can be arranged.

Q) What happens if the weather is bad?
A) Although our inflatables have roofs, we reserve the right to cancel due to adverse weather conditions.
As a result of this, you will be offered a full refund (+deposit) OR the hire can be moved to an alternative date (subject to availability).

Q) What can I do if I need to cancel my booking?
A) Please ensure that you give us sufficient notice should you need to cancel. You agree to forfeit your deposit if you cancel for any reason.

Q) What happens if I damage the inflatable or it gets dirty?
A) When collecting an inflatable, if it is dirty/ soiled, a £20 cleaning charge will be required. Damage to inflatables caused by reckless use is fully chargeable to the hirer.  As a general rule we always ask for our Bouncy Castles to be treated as if you were the owner!
